Haribol,
Please accept my Humble obeisances , I do hope this meet you on good health.

My name is Asitdas, year 1980 to 1985 I was Brahmachari in Iskcon Movement,
Ride now I am in shelter of H.H.Radhanath Swami & disciple .My life's goal
is only to Save Cow, Save Earth (Soil) & Save Desi Bija(seeds), its non-hybrid seeds
this is Krishna Consciousness service for me.

But from last 20 years study Indian Cow Breed & organic farming.Last
12 years happen to the co-ordinater (central India) for Bhartiya Go-vansh Rakshan Parishad.
Running Kamdhenu Kutumbkam its save Cow, save Earth,Save Desi Bija(seeds) movement.
I conducts seminar of natural Farming Proses (vedic way) & desi seed Bank for farmers.

So, Prabhuji I want to point out few things ,those are taking away us from
Bhakti & Sadhana. Those are Very essential in our life i.e. grains, vegetables, fruits, milk.
We know all these are totally contaminated , we thinks all are Sim's to vegetarian.
Unfortunately they not vegetarian, because all these G.M.O. grains, vegetables, fruits are
contains animal gene like fish, hog, spider, cockroach, any animals. Also our milk form hybrid
cow means cow-baffle-hog . So please thinks if we take such so called veg. food, what will
happen to our consciousness.Certainly this 'Ahara' will effects Krishna Consciousness & devotee's life
in Iskcon movement. How we will achieve Sadhana & Bhakti. All we are aware of this results in our Iskcon.

Shila Prabhupada knew this will happen in future. He always mention in his Books about
Go-Raksha & self sufficient farming community for our every centers around the world, to get
desi cow milk, organic desi food for devotees. But Iskcon centers tried lot according to Shila Prabhupada's wish.
Unfortunately they do not get proper guidance for Natural way of farming. For ex. in year 80-90 all
Iskcon farms go for hybrid seeds, chemical fertilizers & pesticides ,hybrid cow (jars i/ho stein), but ride now quit few are turn to organic farming, Desi Cows (Indian Cows) with hump.

Still their is time to improve our way of farming techniques with cow. Someone has to come forward
began this process of natural farming way then slowly gradually other will follow. It is very easy, by help
of only one cow need to cultivate 10 arcs of farmland. This is totally unbelievable theory. From this
Natural Farming you will get desi grains-vegetables-fruits in few years . So the Devotees
will get 'Satavik Anna' towards to achieve Bhakti & Sadhana.

I have given many years of life for Natural Farming expriments, Desi Seed Bank, please take advantage
all Farming Communities of Iskcon. Mail me, invite me learn Natural Farming technics ,
Certainly I will spare time to teach natural farming your community.

"SARVE DEVAAH STHITA DEHE SARVA DEVAMAYEEHI GAOU"

The above shloka means that all the deities dwell in the body of a cow. Therefore the cow itself is as holier, as the deities.
The cow symbolizes the dharma itself. It is said to have stood steadily upon the earth with its four feet during the Satyug (world's first age of truth), upon three feet during the Tretayug (the second stage of less than perfection), upon two feet during the Dwaparyug (the third stage of dwindling and disappearing perfection) and only on one leg during Kaliyug (the fourth and current age of decadence)
The name for cow in the Vedas is known asaghyna which means invioable.
Another name is "ahi" which means not to be killed and another is "aditi" which means never to be cut into pieces.

Cows are the dear most for krishna. India has gone down because of cow killing.

I am in hyderabad now and here i hardly see a cow as one of the most largest meat exporting plants in the world are here and in Goa.

Very shame ,the country where cows are worshiped is the greatest exporter of cow meat. Because the hybrid cows are the mixed gene of cows and pigs ,and because so called muslims dont eat pigs ,hence indian breed cows have great demand in midle east.

How ever we must do some thing for it.

"The cows in Krsna's abode are also liberated souls. They are called surabhi cows. There are many popular pictures showing how Krsna loves the cows, how He embraces and kisses them. That passive relationship with Krsna is called santa. Their perfect happiness is achieved when Krsna comes and simply touches them."
Science of Self-Realization, Chapter 8
"Krsna always tends the cows. His name is cowherd boy. To become animal of Krsna is a great, great fortune. It is not ordinary thing. Any associate of Krsna, either His cowherd boyfriends or calf or cows, or the Vrndavana trees, plants, flowers or water, they are all devotees of Krsna. They like to serve Krsna in different capacities. Somebody is serving Krsna as animal. Somebody is serving Krsna as fruits and flowers, as tree, as Yamuna water, or the beautiful cowherds men and damsels or Krsna's father and mother, so many with Krsna. Krsna is not imperson. So He has got so many lovers. Krsna also loves them. So Krsna's another name is pasu-pala, pasu-pala-pankaja. He is, mean, tender of the animals. Surabhir abhipalayantam. He takes pleasure in tending the cows, surabhi. These are surabhi cows, not these ordinary cows, surabhi cows. Surabhi cows means you can milk the cow as many times as you like and as much milk as you like. That is surabhi."

Bowing His head and with a smile mixed with tears, Krishna said, “O My mothers, what can I do? The cows do not know what to do. Without Me they will not even eat a mouthful of grass.”

(Gopala-Campu, First Champi, Text 69, Srila Jiva Goswami, translated by Kusakratha dasa.)

O moon faced One, the other cows became very anxious when they saw that Krishna had finished milking one of them. Look! Krishna’s hips and thighs are marked with drops of milk. The cows and calves drink the nectar of His fresh, youthful luster with tear-filled eyes, keeping their necks bent.

(Sri Krishna-bhavanamrta,Ch 17, Trans. Sri Advaita dasa. Vrindavan, Rasbihari Lal and Sons, 2000.)

When Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu visited Vrindavana, the cows and calves surrounded Him and began licking His body. All the cows relished the nectarean tasteof His body and cried in ecstatic love.Seeing this, Lord Caitanya said, “Vraja has inconceivable qualities. The residents of Vraja all have natural devotion to Krishna.”

(Sri Advaita Prakasa, Chapter 16, by Sri Isana Nagara, trans. by Subhag Swami.)

Srila Prabhupada Quotes:
There are so many facilities afforded by cow protection, but people have forgotten these arts. The importance of protecting cows is therefore stressed by Krsna in Bhagavad-gita (krsi-go-raksya-vanijyam vaisya-karma svabhavajam [Bg. 18.44]). Even now in the Indian villages surrounding Vrndavana, the villagers live happily simply by giving protection to the cow. They keep cow dung very carefully and dry it to use as fuel. They keep a sufficient stock of grains, and because of giving protection to the cows, they have sufficient milk and milk products to solve all economic problems. Simply by giving protection to the cow, the villagers live so peacefully. Even the urine and stool of cows have medicinal value. [Srimad-Bhagavatam 10.6.19 Purport]

"According to Vedic civilization the cow is to be given special protection. Why it is recommended for the cow? It does not say of other animal. When animal killing is required according to Vedic civilization, those who are meat-eaters, they are allowed to kill some insignificant animal like deer, goat, pigs. It is for the animal eaters, not for all. But if one is bent upon... And there are persons, they want meat-eating. So for them these unimportant animals are recommended. But cow is very important animal. You get from its milk so many nutritious food. So apart from religious sentiment, from economic point of view, cow-killing is not good. And from moral point of view it is not good because you drink cow's milk, so cow is your mother."
(Garden Conversation with Professors, Chairman of the Religion Dept. of U.S.C., and Dr. Stillson Judah, and others -- June 24, 1975, Los Angeles)
