I heard that certain soaps and shampoos have animal ingrediants in them. Can anyone tell me what I need to watch out for? Ivory and Irish Spring soaps are bad becasue they have animal products in it. I heard Dial soaps and shampoos are okay and Dove also has no animal ingrediantes but is there any other shampoos and soaps that are safe to use? I don't have any Indian or health food stores near by to go to get these special items. Also what toothpastes are safe to use as well ? Thanks! See More

Thursday night i had gotten very very sick. They had made the prasadam too spicey I think. Its to harsh on my stomach. And I hadn't eaten anything really in three days because I was so afraid of getting sick again. Yesterday I was going to go to Canada but got rejected by the Canadian border due to financial reasons and not having proof of address. Not sure why Krishna had made this arrangement. I am visiting family in Califoria for three weeks. And all I am finding myself to do is go to a temple and spend time with devotees. I don't have much interest in what my family does. My spiritual master, Bhaktimarga Swami, is leaving for India in two weeks. I only have that amount of time to spend with him. I've stayed at this temple for a month and a half and I've gotten so used to seeing him around everyday. I stayed longer than I was supposed to becuase he just had a hernia surgery done.
