Many devotees have nicely explained to you about Lord Krishna being the origin of Lord Vishnu.

There are two examples, first one is Lord Bhismadev in 2nd Canto, refers to Krishna as Adi Narayan, Adi means the first. Second one is Lord Brahma in 10 th Canto tells Lord Krishna Lord Naryan is the plenary portion, and you are the Original One.

Also there is a famous sloka in Bhagvatham "Krishna tu Svyam Bhagvan".

Anyways, my advice is do not fight with Sri Vaishnavas, tell them Lord vishnu and Lord Krishna are the same persons. There is nothing wrong in them saying Lord Vishnu being the origin of Lord Krishna, which means they are not offending the Lord. They do not have much idea of Goloka vrindavan. Just tell them that Lord Krishna teachings of Bhagvad gita is the basic teachings of Humanity. That is important for vaishnavas and non-vaishnavas too.

All activities of Lord Krishna and Lord Vishnu are spiritual and transcendental. Worship of demigods as a seperate energy of Krishna is definitely condemend.

Always be convinced of Mahaprabhu Philosophy achintya bhead tatava and be peaceful with them. Encourage them in serving Radha Krishna, Laxmi Narayana, and Sita Ram. Finally, get some help in preaching Krishna Consciousness.
