Lord Jagannath didn't want to leave!
Some brahmanas from a local village, felt that they could offer Lord
Jagannath a better standard of worship and they wanted to worship Him

their village. Therefore one day they came and stole Lord Jagannath.

this was a nice article i read in the internet about chanting japa and the proper use of it ...though so many years have passed but still it is very imp to reming ourselves that 99.9 % of our devotional lives depends on chanting ....this will be useful to all of us...especially me ...so just for my purification i m writing this and passing this to all
Chanting a mantra or hymn softly and slowly is called japa and chanting the same mantra loudly is… Continue

On reading your information and also going through your blogs on net, I could able to realize that you are a very senior devotee, possessing good spiritual realizations, good knowledge & subject on scriptures, doing good in Krishna Conscisouness.....
But please forgive me to express my sincere and straight forward feeling that the photo that you have put on the net is NOT as per the Etiquettee / Decorum of ISKCON.
You may counter that everything lies in the EYES & Mind of a person who sees, but I felt like expressing it, hence expressed.
Please forgive this most downfallen soul for having expressed my feelings with free will.
