Daily number of rounds of Hare Krishna mahamantra.
Sometimes more but usually at least 4. I used to be chanting 16 once upon a time, and I hope to return to that state as soon as possible.I began chanting Harinaam in 1984.
When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?
1984, introduced by Swami Kurma Das who originally hails from Sudan( not the famous chef). After reading Srila prabhupada's books I finally came to understand about Krishna in detail, and began following the Gita wholeheartedly. I had been initiated into Ramakrishna order by a great saint, but my attraction towards Krishna has won over everything else, and I seek to serve Krishna always.
Name the nearest and most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.
I am a life member since a long time now, been associated with ISKCON since 1984, missed the opportunity of seeing Srila Prabhupada, but I saw him in two visions, and that compensates for everything. I started off with chanting 16 rounds daily, kept it up for a while, then after marriage things changed a bit, but again I made efforts to return to 16 rounds a day. I have been deelpy inpressed by Lokanatha Swami Maharaj, who is also the direct disciple of Srila Prabhupada. I see initiation by Lokanatha Swami Maharaj or his initiated disciples.
What are your expectations from this community?
Sharing knowledge about Krishna.

Food is Death - Eat drink and be sorry.Food not offered to Krishna is as good as poison.If you try to offer meat fish and eggs to Krishna, beware you will be in deep trouble soon.You have limited choice about what to offer, just offer only pure vegetarian food cooked in a clean atmosphere.
