SURRENDER
My mind, my body, my hearth and shore,
I offer it to your lotus feet, o Nandakishore.
In goodtimes or badtimes in life or in death,
Of your two merciful feet, I am in debt.
Kill me or protect me its your wish alright,
As I am your eternal servant it is your supreme right.
If I do have to take birth again,
O lord, let it be in a devotee’s home, I Yen.
Life as a worm, surrendered at your lotus feet, I…

Today I am writing after a long time. As if I had stopped living for all this while since I stopped wiritng. Really WRITING IS LIVING. I read today- to write is a verb not a noun. Meaning it is an action word. It can never be stagnant or still. It has to be dynamic has to always be moving. Over the years my heart seemed to have dried I don’t know how I allowed that but it was kind of a degradation of my soul. This trip which I had alone to a beautiful and spiritually charged…

As the famous saying goes " Beauty lies in the eyes of the Beholder". So no doubt our conception of beauty may differ a lot from others. Nonetheless, it is a pleasure sharing with you my idea of beauty. Poets, writers authors all have been glorifying the beauty of this world since time immemorial. But i pity those who think that beauty is just skin deep. The most beautiful things in this world are felt…

You called?
Hi, Sitadd,
I read your beautiful, heartfelt expression of love towards Uncle George. I agree with you completely on every point that you made. Well, being as you never heard any Bealtes, or George songs till after he passed, then I have a lot of great music of George's to share with you. That is if you don't mind. I would love to pass along some of his music, which was really a lot more than mere music.
Have you heard this song?

Hi Sita,
Yes, I feel that George was a very significant spiritual force here in the west during his lifetime. Thanks to him, I got a chance to even learn about Indian spirituality and culture. There's no way I would have ever been exposed to Transcendental meditation, Ravi Shankar, Srila Prabhupada, The Hare Krishna's, Paramahansa Yogananda, Self Realization, all of that, if it weren't for a personality such as George, that many of us young Americans trusted and had great admiration and respect for. I'm sure KRSNA would have made it all happen anyway. But this was the way that He chose to awaken and enlighten those of us in our generation, in our time, from the clutches of Maya, materialism, ignorance, self destructive behaviors. So, yes, I personally feel the need to honor and not forget my dear uncle George. But that doesn't mean that I am obsessed with him, or that I hero worship him. Because I don't. Not at all. I also want ISKCON to be reminded of the very significant contribution George made to their global success. In case they want to forget who helped to put them on the map.
Nice talking to you, Sita. Yours truly, Sriman John :)
Thank you for your kind and supportive words , Sita.
I would love to do some work over in India one day! Who knows? From your lips to Gods ears. Keep in touch. Hari Bol!
Dear Sita Devi Dasi,
Of course you are very welcome to associate and be friends with me. Thank you very much for asking me and being so nice. I am flattered and honored that you saw something in my bio that made you wish to get to know me better. So tell me Sita, just what was it about my profile or page that made you feel positive about me as a devotee?
P.S.~~~I have a gift for you that I give to all of my new friends. :-)
