- When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?
- Introduced to Hare Krishnas in 1969. Saw them chanting in Cambridge Common, Boston in July of '69. My childhood friend Jimmy Feldman (Yamunacharya) joined temple in NY in August of same year and then I joined the following month (61 Second Avenue).

Married Kanka Dasi and had two sons and a daughter
Remarried and have a son with second wife
Split from ISKCON in '79 when things got chaotic and I couldn't agree with what was taking place.
- What are your expectations from this community?
- Shmoozing with elevated souls. I am certainly not a gurukuli (I'm 57 years old). My three sons and my daughter all went to gurukula in ISKCON at one time or another --- in L.A., New Vrindaban and Vrindaban, India. They are all devotees today as well as my stepdaughter and stepson who is a sannyasi. My sister is also an initiated disciple of Srila Prabhupada and so is my ex-wife and my present wife as well as her brother (who joined ISKCON in 1967).
