When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?: 1996 I think, by mail, the book Science of Self Realization.

Name the nearest and most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.: Orlando, Sri Mayapur Dham.

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.: I like Reading, baking, taking care of Sri Sri Panca Tattva and Sri Sri Gaura Nitai, missing the US but disliking much while there, exploring India, Bangladesh and Nepal, helping others, being a devotee, trying to serve God....Interests:learning Bengali--and promoting that other devotees learn it, , travel, Hare Krishna, Gaudiya Vaisnavaism, Christian Mystics, Desert life, Hermit life. Anti-social. Comparative Religious traditions.Favorite Music:Krishna Kirtan Prabhu of Bangladesh. Padmavali kirtan. Los Terricolas

What are your expectations from this community?: Sadhu sanga ki jaya. To meet up with like minded friends.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?: I love to serve the devotees. I like to do secretarial and general services. I also like Deity Seva and cooking and cleaning.

If someone is still attached to material sense enjoyment and at the same time posses himself as a great devotee, he is cheating. "Great devotee" means that one is no longer disturbed by material desires. We may put a dog on a throne and crown him as king. But when someone throws a bone he will jump off the throne and immediately run for the bone. Many, so called "Devotees" are exposed when they were found to be having illicit sex and intoxication. Lord Caitanya taught us the standard for pure devotional service. He said that He had no desire for wealth, women, followers, or even for liberation from the cycle of birth and death, that the only thing He desired was devotional service birth after birth. This is the standard of pure bhakti.
