- Hare Krishna Sid Prabhu! How are you doing? Its been a long time since I last heard from you. Hope all is well by the grace of Guru and Sri Narasimhadev. Well yesterday was Sri Vaikuntha Ekadasi. It is one of the most important ekadasis celebrated in the southern part of India. I fasted the whole day till this morning. Visited the local temple where they had special pujas for Lord Gopala Krishna. The Lord and His eternal consorts Sri Sathyabama Devi and Sri Rukmini Devi were carried on a beautifully decorated palanquin around the temple. They looked so majestic in Their fineries and thick flower and Tulasi garlands. I feel so blessed to have Their darshan on this auspicious day. I will post you some Tulasis I got from the temple soon. Take care and be happy in your spiritual life. Bye. Haribol!

Sorry for the delay in replying. Are you still chanting the Narasimha prayers? I hope it works for you. We all have our shares of ups and downs in this material life. Some we can cope and others we need help from higher authorities. Yes Lord Narasimha appeared to save His little devotee Prahlada from the wrath and torture of his father Hiranyakashipu. He appeared from a pillar and terminated the demon by ripping him apart using His nails. Lord Narasimha's appearance day is celebrated around May. The place where this incident occured is now called Ahobilam. It is located in the jungle terrain of Andhra Pradesh in south India. There are many ancient Narasimha temples here on the mountains. Its a tough and dangerous journey to view all these temples. The pillar from which the Lord appeared is still standing there. I will try to get you some sites related to Lord Narasimha. Pls be patient and continue your devotions as much as you can. I will always pray for you.
